Owned by a couple of Irish-American firefighters (neither of whom are named Shaun), this friendly south suburban pub welcomes locals and visitors from across Chicagoland -- surprise, even northsiders!
The most interesting of the fried appetizers are the Gaelic chips: garlic seasoned fries smothered in Smithwick's cheese sauce or homemade curry sauce. Regulars rave about Shaun's wings, while homemade chili and a dozen or so sandwiches (including hefty burgers and hot and cold corned beef) round out the menu.
Frequent live weekend entertaiment, low-priced daily specials and seven plus HD TVs add to the lively atmosphere.
